When my mother passed away, I became an heir to a large cache of precious metals in the form of gold coins, silver bars, and 90% silver coins. I live 1700 miles from where my family was storing it on my behalf, and had the thorny task of figuring out how I could access and liquidate my holdings.

This past summer I flew into Minneapolis for a family wedding. Prior to my travel, I had submitted an inquiry through the American Rare Coin website and I received a prompt response from their sales manager. He answered all of my questions, and was very straightforward in regard to what I could expect when my items were evaluated and priced. I had contacted other metals dealers in Minneapolis as well, and they either did not respond, or were very cagey in their replies.

While in Minneapolis I sold the easily transportable items to American Rare Coin. I was treated fairly and equitably, and was very satisfied with the transaction. I went from pleased to ecstatic, however, when they offered to travel several hours to pick up the remainder of the estate. That second transaction was just as smooth and transparent, and accomplished without my presence.

Highly recommend your business for the sale of any jewelry, coins and collectibles!  I visited your business today and I worked with Mike.  He was tremendously helpful.  I had some gold coins, silver coins, and some gold rings that I turned in.  It was a good feeling to know that I got the current standard price for all the metals.  And I was pleasantly surprised at what the rings brought in.  I wasn’t sure about a few of them but I am so glad I brought them!  I know that many of the fly by night businesses (that spend big $ on advertising) do not have current prices and it can be so easy to be swindled if you aren’t sure what you have, but definitely not at American Rare Coins and Collectables.  Thank you for the fantastic customer service. American Rare Coin and Collectibles was recommended to me as an excellent place to do business.  And I have to say that I have found it so.
