Sold a very old, rare gold coin here. Shopped it around to a few other smaller shops and American Rare Coin paid the most by a small margin. Friendly staff, my only negative thing to say is that they don’t have convenient hours, they’re open when most people are working, and getting into the shop is a bit confusing–it’s inside of a massive plaza. It’s attached to a Wells Fargo which was a huge benefit for me as I bank there. The entire experience from appraisal, sale, and depositing the check in my account took about 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

This is the place to sell coins and bullion. Especially on a good price upswing. They update buy price on their website daily. Fast service and very knowledgeable. Obviously you won’t get the same price as selling privately. But they offer sellers zero hassle or risk. Plus you’re immediately paid in a check, that you can cash down the hall from their office.

Had a pretty sizable collection that really and was beginning to get into the hobby and now I am a active collector have become a member with NGC frequent auctions and shows and I was given incredibly good advice from a gentlemen that helped me by the way he knew more about coins than anyone had talked to up to that point and could explain it in a way I would understand we’re just very helpful he told me that coin is only as valuable what somebody is going to pay for it and sometimes that’s surprising and condition is everything thank rare coin and collectible I should note the reason I went in was made online advertisement.

Overall awesome experience. We took my dad’s coin collection in and we’re stunned by the value of some of the coins. The collection was so large and heavy I really dreaded this. But one of the employees stopped and helped us get it loaded and unloaded again.
