I Knew I Made The Right Choice. From the moment I called American Rare Coin & spoke w/ Matt, I knew I had made the right choice. He answered all my questions re: the collection of coins I had, how long an appt. might take, what does an appraisal cost, etc. I made an appt. and Mark was our numismatist. He explained everything to us from the price of silver that day to examining the older, more valuable coins I have. We learned so much from him about the history of US coins. He was most cordial and very patient when I asked him to repeat figures as I was taking my own notes. If he wasn’t sure of the exact value of a certain coin, he would consult with one of his colleagues. Everyone in the office was very friendly.

Amazing customer service. I went in to sell a bunch of coins from my husbands estate and some jewelry. I worked with Daniel and he took the time to explain how coins are valued. He was meticulous, through, and very kind. I felt like I was dealt with honest and fairly. I was very happy with the whole experience.

An Exceptional Experience!
I brought my 19 year old daughter to American Coin to get information on a shoe box full of coins that she received from her grandfather. This was our first visit to a coin dealer and it was an exceptional experience. We worked with Daniel who was very personable, knowledgeable, thorough, and funny. He took the time to go through the entire box of coins one by one and helped us decide which to keep and which to sell. In the end she was able to walk away with a check in hand and a couple of keepsake coins from Grandpa. Thanks Daniel for a great experience.
