Coin and Currency Appraisals. My wife and I came to American Rare Coin and Collectibles with a collection my father had prior to his death. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received. Rick went through all of the collection, even though there was no order to where coins were placed in the three shoe boxes my Mother presented me with. Rick was thorough in his calculations and provided explanations each step of the way. I definitely recommend American Rare Coin for anyone seeking to sell or to obtain an appraisal for their coins and currency collection.

very pleased with my visit, fair honest, professional. felt little bad eating that sandwich in front of them in the morning from the cafe. the lady that works there was very nice can’t remember her name sorry, And the gentleman that was helping me was very thorough he really knows his coins, making sure if there was any rare coins so I could get the most money. also can’t remember his name, I’m really bad with names very sorry, but my lasting impression is there, if I had to recommend a place to sell to these guys would be it, I never felt for a second that I was pressured to sell anything. the price was very fair. thank you

We were in a few weeks ago to sell my father in laws coin collection that was left to us. I must say, it was quite busy but we were greeted by such a delightful woman. I am sorry I didn’t get her name, but she had the most fun glasses! She was so knowledgeable and pleasant and helped us so much, along with the other staff that we worked with. Definitely will return here if I need to sell/ buy, or even get advice.

Ok, I was a bit nervous about checking this place out. I had some bracelets from an ex to get rid of. He had assured me they were real gold. The woman in the front of the shop was so kind and helpful! She explained the process, offered to get me some water, and then examined the bracelets. Turns out they were cheap junk. But the woman who helped me was so helpful and understanding, and funny too, that I almost didn’t mind that the stuff was worthless junk! (My words, not anyone else’s.) I would recommend American Rare Coin. Thank you!

I stopped into American Rare Coin a couple of weeks ago and even though it was quite busy, I was greeted and welcomed immediately by the office manager (if she isn’t the office manager, she should be!) . . . I wish I could remember her name! Everyone was so professional and made me feel like I was the most important person there. Even though I ended not selling or purchasing anything on this particular visit, I will definitely be back and would highly recommend checking them out.
